Default HIGH RPM'S

I know our cars have a sticking rpm issue, but does anyone have this happen. If I am in 3rd gear around 3000rpm, and go into neutral or push in clutch, the rpm's will stay their for about 5 to 10 seconds.
Has anyone been able t ofix that with a tune?

I'd be interested to know this as well. My car has the same issue, but instead of completely hanging when I shift, the RPMs just come down really really slowly.

Matt, I am hoping after my dyno tune I will be able to rectify this. For now I have a canned tune from diablo.

I have had this happen a handfull of times to me since I owned the car I am pretty sure it was before I was S/C don't think its happen since so it might be able to be corrected in the tune.

FWIW from what I remember it would only happen if say I was coming to a stop at a light I would just take it out of gear ( I believe third into neutal)instead of pushing in the clutch or down shifting. This is when I noticed that the rpms would stay at the same rpms (sometimes) I was at before I took it out of gear, but I noticed when it happened as soon as I would then push the clutch inthen rpms would thendrop.

So ever since then when ever coming to a stop or slowing down I always push the clutch in then pull it out of gear into neutal and don't remember the problem happing again.
