I need to quit my job in a year and go back to school full time. I'm planning to get as much student loans and financial aid as possible. The monthly payment on my stang is $248.34 and my insurance is $114 a month. So almost $400 a month for a car. Then I have to swing rent, food, utilities, and other random stuff that comes up. So if you're paying your way through college, how in the world do you afford your car? I'd hate to sell it, but I feel like I may not have a choice.

$400 a month ain't bad... Simply pulling in $300 a week, and averaging out to about $1000 a month and just $12K per year should get you through just fine. Just don't buy mods or waste money. You'll be ok....

What kind of part time job pays $300 a week without putting in absurb amounts of hours?

Get a CDL and find a company that will work you one or two days a week doing overnight runs. I get paid $200 for any trip under 15hrs roundtrip, and $300 for a trip thats around 24hrs, unless I do a FL run which takes about 27hrs to do and pays a little over $500, but thats mileage pay. Just don't ask me if I drive legally.

I'm returning to college and paying for the stang (I've been caught up in work) I'm making about 900/bi-weekly if my hours were still at 40 then over 1200

I'm currently a full time student at college.

Car payment = $423
Insurance = $268

so $691 a month for my car. Im a personal trainer at the fitness center on campus.

I take home 1050 biweekly... I'm a juvenile correctional officer at the Juvenile Hall.
I should be done with school pretty soon though. 5 more classes to go!
