In Louisiana, it is illegal to drive with fog lights on within 500 yds of an oncoming vehicle day or night - the lights are considered to be inclimate weather lights to be used in poor visibility conditions but not in the vicinity of oncoming traffic. But I do think they look cool and I use them in daytime.

I get flashed every night i drive home from work. Gets annoying. I usually just ride with the fogs off now because it became a nuisance to flash back.

I find it kinda obnoxious to turn on foglights when its not, ya know, foggy. Why why why why.... Thats like sitting at every light and revving just because your car is loud.

I used to drive with both head and fog lights on at night but stopped because I noticed the near-far contrast was greater thus limiting viewing range

the fogs have the little plastic piece there so they don't shine strait forward but (up, down, left, and right) so to avoid the reflected light from fog
I do think it would be interesting to have HB and fogs on at the same time (illegal but I would like to be able)

The only time I drive with the fogs on is on a very dark road with no oncoming traffic. They are off 99% of the time.

And the point of driving with the fog lights on at night (absent fog) is what exactly?

So you can see better of course. They shine out about 15-20 feet and onto the shoulder of the road. People ned to be watching the ROAD instead of looking at whether I have my brights on or not. When they hit me with their brights, I return the favor and bring tears to their eyes. They are left with the feeling of "Why did I do that?"

I get flashed more than once every time I drive at night here! I actually drive with my 3 of my left hand fingers on the turn signal so I can immediatly flash back... lol.
It really gets on my nerves but driving with the fogs on looks awesome. I didn't buy a GT to look like a V6 at night.

Some ****** like to flash you if they can see 4 lights. When they do, I say fine, you want 2 lights, here they are.

Check your aim per factory specs.
Leveling your car out with springs
changes the aim considerably.
I dropped mine 3/4" in the rear
and had to reaim my fogs and
headlights.

I gots mine hooded up that way but its not factory wiring.
Really hard on the ponies and GTs with factory fogs but
doable with a relay. I like the flash to pass that flashes
both my headlights and fogs at the same time. I get "howed
he do that" looks from other stangs sometimes.

well we wouldnt have to turn them on if ford did a better job with the light pattern of the headlights. for those who have them off, do you have any "driving lights" on in addition to your headlights?? here in cali you are allowed a max. of four white lights to the front on and i use every bit of them!
