Default Does Roush spoiler use factory holes?

I know it covers the factory holes but does it use them? Is it necessary to drill additional holes? Trying to decide if it is a do-it-yourself job....

Thanks!!

The middle section uses the factory holes, but you need to drill extra holes for the side piece's.
-Three for each side if I remember correctly...

Don't drill in your quarter panels for the side pieces. Use double sided tape all the way around, it's plenty strong.
If you have holes in your quarters, you're stuck with that style, unless you want to spend big bucks for a change over. Always think ahead...

Good idea. I was wondering about that since the kit says it comes with double sided tape. So to get this straight, the Roush spoiler will use the factory holes used by the 07 Pony Package spoiler, and the side pieces can be installed with the double sided tape?

Yep! Everything's designed to be a quick swap.

Thanks! That is great news! Sounds like a definite do-it-yourself job - just what I wanted to hear.

Can I assume correctly that it will also use the GT holes? (are they the same as the pony?)

Thanks

and

Cheers!

Great news! So now for the big question - where's the best place to get one? I see a couple for sale on Ebay where they include shipping and painting for a total price of around $345 or so. Or am I better off with AmericanMuscle, etc.?

I was planning to install it and not match the body color, but rather in a flat black to go with my stripes. I've seen what looks like a dealer package where they have black stripes on the hood and the Roush wing installed but in flat black. Does it come this way just out of the box? In other words, I can just order and install (the ads say it is primed for paint, but not sure if that's primer gray or black)?

Same question about the paint - Is there anywhere online that that you can order the spoiler (or scoop) painted flat black?

07PonyVert - Welcome to the forum.
