Default Saleen Series VI Misconception rectified

Ok, I have read several posts in the past few days that state when you buy a Saleen and want to go over 8PSI, make sure you check with them about getting an intercooler for it....For the record, in case anyone is not clear. the saleen series VI supercharger comes with an intercooler....in fact it is a 2 stage water to air intercooling system. Maybe I am not seeing it somewhere else, however....I have not seen a kit sold for the S197 that is not the one described below..please someone help me out here...why is there this misconception that the Saleen is available without the intercooler???I truly hope this helps to bust the myth...LOL
Saleen Series VI integrated TwinScrew supercharger with two-stage water-to-air intercooling system.
A second cooler located in the airdam below the engine radiator assists the intercooler integrated into the supercharger assembly. compact, light weight and high efficiency - Essentially, the Saleen design integrates the previously separate intake manifold, blower housing/assembly and intercooler into one compact unit that nestles neatly into the valley between the heads. This allows for a much wider intake manifold.

Besides that the heat exchanger in the front is pretty small, they all have the intercooler. Just like Roush...........

The heat exchanger in front is larger than any Vortech/Paxton I've seen.

as far as the misnomer that it is different in stages, no, actually the saleen series vi stage 1 to stage whatever is the same core unit with the 2 stage water / air intercooling system. the only thing that differs is pulley size, fuel system and maf upgrades etc..I truly am not trying to be rude...its just that some people are very unaware of what the saleen series VI system is, yet they are giving people researching , misinformation....

The Saleen, KB, or whipple front mount heat exchanger is air to water..........water goes through and is cooled by passing air.
Centri SC's have air-to-air cores up front. As does Powerhouse / Hellion turbo's.

Hmmm, I thought only the Procharger was air-air, with the Vortech/Paxton being air-water?

Correction, Vortech uses air-water. Looking at the Paxton, its air-air.
