It travels in an arc. When you lower the rear
end with lowering springs, it moves to the left
ever so slightly. Factory panhard bars are a fixed
length determined by Ford engineers to keep
the rear end centered at curb height. Up and
down travel of the rear suspension causes it to
move from side to side ever so slightly as the
panhard bar moves in an arc. An adjustable
panhard bar allow compensation for the 1"
drop and recenters the rear end at curb height.

as someone else pointed out roush is roots based and saleen is twin screw. to disagree with someone else who posted...saleen is a TRUE twin screw..you will feel the difference in a twin screw supercharger right off the bat....not after 3000 RPM....twin screw is instant boost....good thing about a saleen is, if you dont want boost then you dont punch the throttle. twin screw boost is available when you need it....no waiting to build boost. ..you can definitely handle it if you know enough to RESPECT it....good luck, research and take your time deciding...

I know it has been awhile, but I just wanted to thank everybody for their opinions. I have decided to keep my eye out for a Foose Stallion and add a supercharger to it down the line. I just love how they look, mean but also simple if you know what I mean. Hopefully I can get a used one between 30-35k at some point. I have a truck now so it would be my 2nd car anyway.

So you would deffinately NOT buy a SC car without a performance shop checking out the supercharger right? Man, buying a used one in another state will be more work than I thought. Maybe Ill buy a non SC GT and build it myself.
BTW, can you deffinately tell the difference between a SC saleen or roush and a stock GT? Is it that big a difference? And then, is it that much more of a difference between that and a Whipple or KB SC?

RE: Newbie Needs Advice - Can I Handle a Supercharged GT?
I recently test drove a new 08 GT and a used 07 GT with the Whipple HO (1500 miles on the odo) back to back. The 08 was stock and the 07 had several other mods done to it - lowered, shifter, wheels & tires, etc...
My impressions on power:
The stock 08 GT had the optional 3.55 gears and pulled nicely in all gears - I was actually impressed.
The 07 with the Whipple drove the same as the 08 GT under 3500 rpms, but over 3500 rpms, just like someone else said, it just keeps pulling strong to redline. It was faster sure, but I thought that 500 hp would have felt stronger.
In the end, I decided to get the new 08 GT and do some n/a mods to it to make it faster than stock - CAI/tune, pullies, aluminum driveshaft, shifter, and axle-back exhaust. I just couldn't justify spending 3x the amount of the mods listed here. And the dealership I purchased my car from has a performance department that will install Steeda/Roush mods and include them under the warranty!
Edit: My car will be a daily driver and I just want something better/faster than stock. If I were a track-rat, the Whipple would be the way to go!

Yes, in my opinion there is a big difference. I had mine stock for about a 1yr before going with a supercharger and now it's a completely different car. They can drive normal just like stock but once you start tapping into the power it becomes a beast. Just need to be ready.
