SCT tuner question
I probably should have posted this a long time ago when I got my intake and tuner. The only thing I changed with the tuner was the 93 octane. Other than that I didnt change a thing, well I took the governor off, but thats it. What else should I have done or should I do with it? I seen something about the spark and other stuff, but I didnt wanna f*ck the car up. Thanks alot

RE: SCT tuner question
It sets the rev limiter at 6800 rpm. Stock it's at 6250 rpm. There were some posted about it a while back. Some said keep it at 6,800 rpm, but I was carefully and lower it to 6200 rpm just to be safe.
In addition, you may want to set the rev per mile manually. I didn't mess with that value (left it "stock") until I got a GPS. Then I noticed that my speedometer was way off. I entered the value manually, which helped considerably.
If you're unsure what the revs per mile are for your tires, then check the web, don't use a formula, those are inaccurate. My 17" inch Perelli's are 768 revs per mile, so I put it on 770.
The difference doesn't matter much as my speedometer reads about 3 mph faster than what the computer is actually measuring at highway speeds. It's probably an error that has to do with where the needle goes on the stock gauge. No big deal. It took me a few days, some careful measuring in two cars and a GPS to finally figure it out.
Barring any problems with how your car is running, I wouldn't touch anything else besides intake, octane, shift pressure (for autos) and gear selection if you have new gears installed.

go to b ama or brenspeed and have them write an actual tune for you....

RE: SCT tuner question
they should have already set it up for 93 then and you should not need to change anything.....the tunes from them are meant to install right away with no changes at all, in fact changing things with a tune from them would possibly do damage.

No, there is no "changing to 93".....when you got your tunes, you told them you used 93 and they adjusted the settings for it.
