Fuel filling problem with 2007 Mustang
I've read about thefuel fillingproblems others have had with their 2005 Mustangs, but I'm having it with my 2007 Mustang. Does anyone else with 2007 Mustang have this problem. So far they have replaced the gas tank, but still have the problem. Gas pump keeps turning off at midway mark and I have to turn it every which way to get more gas into the tank. It's frustrating.

i dont know about the stang, but i work at mercedes as a mechanic and if we get that problem we usually replace the filler neck. it may all be one piece on the stang though. i would at least ask about that.
also, i dont know if you have, but try a different gas station if you havn't allready.

Only once did i have a problem, pumped gas and station said it was full but gauge in car said E. After trying another pump and seeing it wouldnt give more gas, i left. about 30 mins of driving and it finally creeped back to Full.

I had that problem when the car was new a couple times. But after that and for over a year it never happened again. How long have you had the car? I used to be real careful after the first times, going at the slowest setting. But now I just let the thing pump as fast as she will go and no problems.

RE: Fuel filling problem with 2007 Mustang
I have an 06 vert and I was having the same problem for a long time but I believe that I may have found the key to my problem.
The gas station that I go to has a number of pumps and I noticed the ones I was having problems with were not flat but inclined so the gas inlet was lower than the passenger side of the car. I began using the ones on the other side where the were flat. I pump the gas in using the hands free setting and the slowest setting. It fills it to full without the many shut offs. After it shuts off, I normally can only get in another dollars worth in and then it is fully full. If I try to pump the gas in fast, it will just shut off. I hope this words for you because I know it was a pain in the butt when it happened to me. When at other stations, I look for pumps that make my gas inlet higher than the passenger side. I've tired putting the gas nozzle at the 12 o'clock and 3 o'clockposition and that didn't work for me at all. - good luck
