slp lm1 help..loose clamp
hey guys...my pass side clamp where old pipe meets the new pipe (almost an s bend) is loose..i cant seem to get the new pipe over the old one enough for it to feel solid (right not if i push on the clamp the whole pipe assembly moves like its loose but the clamp is as tight as can be...is there a way to get more of the new pipe over the old one so i can reclamp and the exhaust wont move....im getting a bad rattle from the right side and my right ex. tip moves if touch....the left one is nice and solid...i tried to readjust it last week but it didnt help.

RE: slp lm1 help..loose clamp
try tightening the last bolt on the whole system, it should clamp the pipe to the axel back, and that should prevent the pipe from shaking, or moving. If that doesnt do it, you might need to go deeper, and tighten those, then take hose clamps ans clamp the hanger to the little black holders.
You said you wanted to push the pipes in, try putting soap and water on the pipe to lube it up, then try pushing it in.

sounds like the same prob. i had measure your new pipes inlet (the one that slides over your over axle pipe) to make sure its 2.5" wide. mine was a couple cm. to big i tapped it with a hammer to get the right size so i could have a solid leak free connection.
