with the red interior, the red stripes would be sweet. as far as voiding warranty goes, never get a warranty if you plan on modifying. but you could do a cai if they have come out yet

I too think that the red stripes on black would look Friggen Sweet. I would go with 10". I was trying to picture what it would look like and here is my 5 min art work. Is it just me or does anyone else hear the A-Team theme music?

ORIGINAL: Earl

my '05 GT is coming along nicely...nothing major yet. Just window tint (35%, max legal in Texas), lowjack, Rockford Fosgate Punch amp and 10" sub, Escort 8500X50 RD, Ford spinners for the factory 17" Bullits, and Magnaflow catback exhaust.

Things planned are dual stripes 8"-10" with 2" in between. Can't decide on color. Either Red, Silver, or White. Maybe a short throw shifter. I'd like to do some performance mods but am leary about voiding my factory warranty. I'm in the D/FW area so I may look to Dallas Mustang to help me out. They are working with a dealership here to bring out a Terlingua Racing package and so its possible to maybe do some mods through them and not void my warranty.

Earl

This is my car in 8 in stripes. I wanted them to match the original G.T.350 stripes on the side so I had a 1/4 in stripe run around the 8 in stripes. I think with the red seats you should go with the red stripes. Nice car.

Thanks.

I've decided to leave it stripeless for now. Maybe later. But for now I'm enjoying the solid black look. Earl

It was the A-Team comment that was the deciding factor wasn't it? [sm=violent053.gif]

I just left TX and before I left (summer 04) I was told they changed to tint law to allow 20%. That's what I had installed on both my cars.

Sweet car! Your car's color looks better than what they show on the Ford Website. It looks like a darker blue.
