The guy had been organizing his garage and didn't quite finish so he had his car parked in the driveway overnight instead of in the garage where it usually was. Someone poured accelerant on his front left wheel and lit his car on fire. Last I read on his thread was that he was having trouble getting the police to really investigate what happened and they were just calling it a random act of violence. He claimed he didn't know of any enemies so it was assumed it was just someone jealous that he had a nice car and they didn't.

Someone who should be privately apprehended and then tortured on the rack imo.

The owner was really upset because he planned on keeping it as a collector car since it was the first production year and if I remember correctly the only year for screaming yellow in a vert? Not sure on that last bit though but I know he had stated a few different reasons why THAT car was going to be his collector car someday down the road.

That sucks in a huge way...the poor guy!!!

I hope he got a nice replacement for it.

Earlier comment re colour option fading out in '05...........It was Sonic Blue that bowed out in '05, at least this side of the border anyway.

I think the description of item as "used" is a little kind and to boast it has a V8 when the engine is clearly f*cked is just weird.

did you notice how even the rear suspension looked off? One side looks lowered and the other like it's been jacked up. Is that from just the temp spare or did they tow it wrong?
