My SCT X3 died right after I installed the factory tune back into the car. When I unpacked the SCT from shipping i heard something loose inside. There is a rattle in the device if you shake it. I think it's safe to say something physically broke on it. I hope doug is good about sending me out another device. The device ran out of memory before it puked. If I go into any options it hangs on pulling up options.

I'd call, call, call in the morning. That seems to be the best time to catch him,

I ended up calling SCT directly. They gave me an RMA number and I am sending back the device. I'm bummed the tuner failed already. Oh well...the car runs and I should be thankful it's not down!

I have an SCT tuner too. Came with my Steeda. But I do not know how to use it yet. I would love to hook it up to my car and log the stats on it. Plus I am afraid of meessing things up so I won't be hooking it up without someone who knows what they are doing.

I am worried I will do something BADDDDDDD to my car!

Any advice on how to use it?
