My neighbor down the street has an 05' Gt Auto. He runs mid 14's consistantly. He does have a K/N CAI, but that's it.

it really depends on where you are running. there are a ton of variables in drag racing. just to name a few, altitude, humidity, temperature, track temp, track condition, and the list goes on. i have never had my 07 GT to the track yet, but all of my friends do better in cali and i know 2 people in jerzy with the same car that i have and they all run better times than people here in las vegas. its ***** *** hot, bone dry, track is allways hot and greasy in the summer, and to be brutally honest, it kind of sucks as far as quallity of surface. cars are allways slower here in the summer than in jerzy or cali near the coast.

+1 Yeah I forgot to mention that we live in AZ and it is hotter than heck this time of year. He also has 3.31 gears and stock tires. He complains about traction issues, actually most of the people I have talked to here on Friday night drag races complain about the traction issues, and temp.

I'm in Chandler right next to the Mall off the 101. Where are you? I will be going to Firebird more frequently as it starts to cool off.

Ihave a 5spd 2006 GT. Ran a 13.4 while100% stock down to the rubber and stock airbox (and I even have the shaker 1000 with the extra weight!). No tune, no gears, no weight reduction (spare tire/subsin the trunk, etc.). Trick is to raise tire psi in the front two tires to about 40, and lower the psi in the rear two tires down to 20 or so. I launch around 3k rpm in 1st gear, and get very little spin. The day I did this it was about 70 degrees F, low humidity, and I have witnesses who have seen my slip (I think I showed Doodad).

I may still have the slip around here, I posted it before, but now I can't find it. And as far as I know, I think I have one of the fastest times stock.
