Help with Dying my Leather seats in an 06GT
I have an 06GT with red interior.
I want to make my seats look like this pic below.
Do I just need leather dye for this? Or how would you do it?
Is there any special prep for it?
Should I take it somewhere to be done.. I'm guessing with no experience I should.
And how much would dying the seats like this in the front and back cost? Any Ideas?

Looks just like an 84 GT convertible I had with the Canyon Red Interior ... Red all over just like that.
To answer the thread. the RIGHT way would be to have new inserts installed ... which is obviously what he did since they are not perforated.
I have seen on one of the Speed Channel shows .... Clean the area you are going todye with ACETONE. Now SCUFF up the area with a Scuff Pad ... now Wash down with Acetone again. The acetone temporarily opens up the pores of the leather allowing the die in. I have only seen spray Leather dye so you'll have to mask all the read off.
