2007 Factory Window Tint Messing Up!!! Pics
I first noticed this at around 4k miles, im a 6k now and its getting worse. The car is ALWAYS garaged so I don't know why it's doing this.Is anyone else having this problem? Should I just go aftermarket tint or get it replaced under warranty?
These pics were taken with a cell phone, so it doesn't show very well.It is much worse in person. [:@]

Prometheus beat me to my answer, but you're seeing what I see plain as day every time I put my polarized sunglasses on. Well I did see it anyway until I had my windows tinted. If it bugs you go get some aftermarket tint....the car looks so much better anyway with the darker tint on it.

Wow! I had no clue this was normal... thats pretty cheap looking.
I'm definately going to go get my windows tinted now.
Thanks guys! Saved me from a trip to the dealer!

exactly!
There is a little bit of tint in the windows (not sure about the entire windshield) and when you wear polarized lenses you'll see it in a checkerboard pattern. It's not a Ford being cheap thing, I see this on BMWs too.
Only solution is to tint the windows aftermarket.

It's Not Tint
I have been told that the "checkerboard" you are seeing in the glass is due to the UV protection that is a component of the glazing process in all new cars. Even if you got a replacement, it would look the same. Tinting will "hide" the checkerboard effect. You can look at some older model cars and, if the glass is orginal, you will not see the checkerboard effect.
