If you already have a tune on your car and you get longtubes that does have cats, do you still need a new tune?

mAnYsTyLeS - I think I have heard of what you are talking about and am looking into it. It is called "02 transport delay" I think. My initial impression was that this was for the rear sensors, but this may be the solution to keep the front sensors from throwing this code.

By the way, I do have a custom dyno tune, for all my mods including the CAI/longtubes. It sounds like unless the tuner adjusts the tune like mentioned above, you might throw this code with some longtubes.

Yes, I think that's what it is. He said he fiddled with that portion so I'm assuming the tuner has to be aware of that feature in order to adjust it accordingly. Please let us know how it goes...good luck!
