right now i have gt takeoff mufflers and a bbk x pipe after the cats. my question is, how will this setup sound? i know i still need a pipe going from the x pipe to the mufflers. any idea where i can get one of those? i guess i have two questions [&:]

by raspy, do you mean a little ricey? and will the place i get these installed be able to obtain/make a pipe for the driver's side?

Personally, I don't like the sound of an X pipe. Gives it that civic accent.

o well. good thing i got the x pipe for free i forgot to mention that i plan on getting headers as well. will that make it sound deeper? or will it just exaggerate the rasp?

MAC axleback and an H-Pipe if you want the absolute deepest sound. i dunno how good it would sound on a V6, but I imagine it would sound deeper and smoother than any other setup since it's about the deepest out there for a GT.

the reason i amusing the set up i stated above is because i got the x pipe for free and the mufflers for $50. just trying to find out how it will sound. but if i can find a different setup for a good price, then i will probably jump on that. [&:]

My guess is it will sound like an exhaust you got for free. But what the heck, put it on, check it out, and if you don't like it, take it off. Since you've got basically nothing tied up in it expense-wise (and assuming you are doing the labor yourself), what have you got to loose?

Is there like only one company that does headers for sixxers....i couldnt find anyone but MAC i think
