Drag Radial on 8" rim
Has anyone had any luck with running a 275/45R17 on the stock 8" rim. I know the manufacturer says it should be mounted on at least a 9" rim. But this wouldn't be the first time i didn't listen to the manufacturer. Has anyone done this, if so did you have any problems with it? Were you able to air them way down.

RE: Drag Radial on 8" rim
ET Streets reccomend a min 8 inch rim for that size.
Ihave seen275/45/17 DR tires on an 8" rim before and the sidewall was extremely bowed in.
Personally I would worry about running these at 15psi at 105mph.
Just my opinion but I have seen it done many times without issue.

RE: Drag Radial on 8" rim
Thanks everyone. The only thing i was worried about was the sidewall at low pressure. From the sounds of it i'll be alright. I will probably go with the MT ETs. Can't wait to actually be able to get some traction!!
