Looks like the same crap I cleaned from my throttle body....I'm guessing the PCV system.

Or the air filter you are using.

Had the JLT on for three days before I noticed the gunk...So it would have to be from the stock filter,if so.

Its from the blowby.....like i stated, get a oil seperator

+1 I agree! Reminds me of when I had my '00 C5 Vette, early LS1's were notorious for this...got an oil catch can.

home depot make it youself kit or you can but one....you will **** your pants about the prices though. Check out stefs oil seperator

Hi, finally bit the bullet and installed CMDP's, but my ? is should my stock ones be this gunked up??
PS I never thought you could feel such a difference w/10 hp!! Way better response in 2nd gear and up. But by looking at my stock ones, it seems I was missing air flow!![:'(]

Now instead of the blow-by just collecting on the butterflys, the blow-by will have a straight unobstructed pathway to your intake valves.
