Don't drop your street radials below 22psi in the back. Run the fronts up to 45psi. Remove all the clutter from the car, and pull out the trunk floor liner, spare and jack if you can.

its a very differnet experience..... I just went for the first time.... there is a lot to remember.....Everything happens fast..

avoid the water box if u can...dont do a burnout... just a spin to clean the tires off... slip the clutch like a ****.... from around 2500 to start...

IMO... forget the tree...
dont feel rushed...(I did) take ur time...make them wait if you need to get yourself set
watch ur tach and shift quick as you can...

look at it as a learning experience....

my .02 from a disappointing day @ the track...

when I was running the stock tires I hooked best at 18 psi and heated them up good and was able to pull as good as a 1.81 60' on the stock tires but I am running an auto with a 4000 stall. best to pull around the water box and back into it. dont want your front tires to carry water to the starting line. experiment with different launch rpms that works good for you and the track conditions. launch too hard and you will blow the tires off. most people I see at the track that pulls the best off the line are launching around 2500 with the stock tires. good luck. I would say your car is capable of 13.0 give or take a little depending on temps and driving ability. first time at the track I wouldnt be upset with 14s. it takes a little time to dial in what works at the track verses what works on the street

Its your first time don't mess with tire pressure until you get a couple passes in you. Then after mess with it start around 25psi in the rear. Don't take anything out the car your not there yet(what are you gonna do the next time you go to get faster). Remember this is a whole other setting and totally different from the street. Have fun be safe and welcome to another addiction. My guess first pass will be 14.1-second pass 13.9 best pass will be 13.8. The car on street tires has low low 13's in it high 12s with sticky tires.
