Default Whats the worst that could happen

So a friend of my is thinking about getting a CAI for his magnum,I was telling him he should get a tune with it as well but isn't hooked on it.So what I told him I would do is let him ride in my car with the 3 diff. stages 1)stock air box 2) just the CAI, and of course 3) Tune and CAI.I know that there are some cars out there that just have the CAI but I want to know what harm if any would come out if this???Thanks

Magnum, as in Dodge?

Hemi's are notorious to tune. The PCM likes to boot tunes. SRT's are the worst.....
Ever notice there are not many supercharger kits for Hemis? There is a reason.

I had a CAI in a 2000 v6 mustang for like 6 or 7 years. No tune, never had a problem.

I'm still a novice on most of this stuff, but what's wrong with running a CAI without a tune?
