Oh the poster is a girl? In that case she should go, since every ugly guy there will pull every string for her to have a good time.

The only REAL danger will be the guys hitting endlessly on you...

Keep in mind, if you blow something up, tow the car as far away from the track as you can, and then have it towed (by another company) to the dealership for repair. If you blow something up at the track, and the dealership finds out about it: warranty = void. Also, there is always the chance of the other guy coming across the centerline on you and smacking in to you. If that happens, the repair bill is yours, since insurance (unless you have specific drag coverage) will not cover you. Most insurance policies become null and void as long as you're at the track.

All that being said -- live a little! Do something "dangerous" once in a while. Go for blast down the strip. Ride without a helmet. Drink milk past the expiration date. Get the "extra spicy" hot wings. Be adventurous!

The biggest risk will come to your checking account because once you start racing, the mod bug will bite.....

It happens to EVERYONE.... no exceptions - so be prepared for that if you race...
