Decided to supercharge, what else do I need?

you dont need gauges, but its a good idea to have. You would only need to get a boost/vacuum (get the combo gauge you dont need two seperate ones) and also an A/F gauge. I bought glowshift gauges, and I like them, but others like autometer (they are very good, and high end gauges)
bigger tires, because you will lose traction with the SC. Lower control arms, and maybe gears.

How come no one suggested LT's and full exhaust?
Suspension goodies for sure, as the others have mentioned.
Tires and some brakes to slow that new rocket you will have.

Well, what are your driving habits ? Do you corner hard or just straight line ?
If you're not hard on the car and just want more horses, you don't need to spend a lot of money on brakes and suspension. Lots of folks just like the pull of the blower and then chill out to the speed limit.
You should always build your car to your way of driving and of course the look you like.

Personally I would get the whipple over the saleen but since you are sold on the saleen, then here is what I would add to it...
GT500 fuel pumps with harness and extra DM
CUSTOM tune
Upper and lower CA's
panhard bar
springs
Boost and wideband a/f guage
full exhaust with O/R pipe
JBA or ARH l/t headers
M&H or Nitto 555R rear tires
good shifter, centerforce clutch and aluminum flywheel for manual and a PI mutlidisc TC for an auto
GI Joe Saleen 8 rib conversion kit
Canton or custom larger intercooler resevior
Fluidyne radiator
Gords or AFCO dual pass heat exchanger
Tru trak differential
LPW low profile girdle
Mezuire EH20 pump
Not all at once if I didn't have the cash but that would be my mod list.

Wow, thanks fanboy that's quite a list. I'll admit there'sa couple thingson that list that I have know idea what your taking about. I guess I have a lot more research to do. Why do you prefer the whipple over the saleen? The reason I was seriously considering the Saleen was more because I am sold on brenspeed and a twin screw type supercharger. I'm pretty sure that is the only twin screw type they sell.

Get an extra belt to put in your trunk and all the tools such as breaker bar to put one on in the field. I just noticed a little fray on mine so I replaced it. After some research on this forum, I noticed all the smart blown owners carry a spare and the tools to replace it. If you blow one on a trip you cannot get one easily in the boonies.
I also like Whipple because it comes with new injectors, new fuel pump, special predator tune etc etc...and it works great, both intercooled and non intercooled. According to my dealer it is also warranteed by Ford as it is a Ford part and does not affect the engine's new longer 07 powertrain warrantee either. This is a huge reason to go with Whipple. I went with the non intercooled version, then the dealer wrecked my car on a test "ride", and I put the H/O version on the new car. OMG what a difference, power went from good (stock) to great (non H/O) to fantastic (intercooled).
I did shocks and bars and cat backs, but I really want to do brakes becasue the car is way too fast for the stock units.
Also tires and wheels are a must because the stock first with the 355 rear is so low that you can't get traction. I got GT 500 Goodyears F1s on mine and I think I made a mistake. I wish I had gotten more tire and wheel. On the upside, these tires are cheap compared to anything in this size, so I don't feel too bad about smokey burnouts. Also 18 inchers are less prone to road damage.
Have fun.

after reading about the blow by associated with superchargers in our cars I would highly recommend getting an oil seperator available from steeda or you can make your own. just do a search on here about it there's a lot of info available
