Default Im so Pi$$^& with Ford right now!

Okay so Ford said that my rotors needed to be turned, I said okay do it. When I go to pick my car up they said they had cut them too deep and needed to order more. So this was Monday. Now I go get my car today and the manager of the shop comes out and says come look, I go and look and they have cracked my front bumper of my body kit in half. So now they have to send it to a body shop and get it repaired......

That does suck, but at least they were being up front about it and making efforts to rectify. Wait until you get it back and see how good the job is before you write them off...

+1 My dealer has had 2 tries to fix my gauge issues( FLI DTE DATA ERR) as long if its under warranty they will fix it! As for the crack, if they caused it they will fix it. Hopefully it will be to your liking.

Good luck!

BTW: marcuskeeler: That pic in your sig looking out of your glassback looks AWESONE!!

Everybody makes mistakes.

At least the dealership appears to be trying to do right by you and fix the things they screwed up on.

That's more than many other members here can say has happened to them.

I know it's frustrating, but I'd just try and take this as a valuable lesson in stress management and move on with your life. Afterall, you're going to get your car back in good shape so what's the point in getting all pissed?

Best of luck to you man!

That sucks, atleast they're fixing it for free, i'm sure it will come out fine when they're all done

Yeah, they could have parked it out back , and said they did not do it. It would be your word against theirs. Sounds like you have an honest dealer.

the tough part is living without the Mustang! I had to do that for 6 weeks while the Ford techs tried to figure out how to fix my engine.
Just make sure when they tell you your car is ready that you and a friend do a complete walk around, open the hood, look for anything not right. Maybe do a test drive. If everything checks out, then you can sign the paperwork!

lol, yeah atleast they are honest. when i was shopping around for my ranger last winter the guy pulling it around spun out ojn the snow in the parking lot and just totalled the front of the truck and the back of a focus, i asked what they would do with the truck(thinking maybe i get a sweet deal on it) and they said they would fix it and sell it for the same price as normal?!
