I'm thinking of installing some kind of lock over the tuner plug in my stang so no one can plug in without my permission. If I ever take mine in for work, I'm not letting them drive it, and I'm going to watch every move they make in the shop. I've heard too many horror stories of dealerships messing with things they have no business messing with.

you dont need a lock. They should flash it unless it needs an update. Either take the CAI/tune off when you go in or tell them you have it tuned and not to update it. Personally it takes 30 minutes to take it off so i would always go that route and save any possible headaches

It just took me 20 minutes. I had no experience using a tuner either.
