Dont waste your money. I can tell you I have written plenty of tickets to folks with, Escort 8500s, X50s, and a few V1's. Sure they protect you if the Officer is sitting there with his radar on constant on, but with instant on your radar is going off, but we already have your speed and your slowing down so its easier to catch you. With Laser/Lidaragain your speed is going to be measured as your car is hit.
I have a ton of friends who tell me a cop will write a ticket 10x faster if you have a radar then if you dont. but then again i learned if your a young guy in a stang, your getting a ticket anyway. I know there alot of cops that are smart enough to know about rd, and how to get around them. but i live in south jersey near cherry hill where if you drive 20mins, you'll go throw like 5 differnt township of police (state troopers, berlin, eveshame, medford, medford lakes) and most of them like to pull you over for anything, and most of them do sit on the side w/ them on.
+1

Stupid greedy, ego-manical 5.0 decided he had to write me a ticket for 61 in a 30. He also had the nerve to bump it down 10 miles and put it right out of a school zone... Can you believe the nerve of the guy???

Lemme tell ya, them cops are *** holes. [&:]

I think your taking me the wrong way I never said "ALL" cops or even "MOST" cops are "ego-manical 5.0's". Matter of fact i have one buddy who had his lic taken away for doing 100 in a 65 w/ no rad and another buddy get nailed at 110 w/a rad and got a WARNING (but he didnt get caough in jersey

problem most people face, more kids then older ones w/ rad dec is they think they cant get caough; so they pretty much race everywhere. If you drive "smart" w/ a rad dec; it will save you over and over.

o btw i pretty much LOVE cops even though alot of them my way can be flat out jerks...but then again i can only image the jerks they deal w/ everyday.

Phaser II y Rocky Mountain Radar. A little expensive but worth it. They will pay the fine if you get a ticket as long asyou arenot going more than 10 mph over the limit. Mine has saved me many times.

DO NOT GET ANYTHING BY ROCKY MOUNTAIN RADAR. google them...i believe radartest.com wrote an article detailing how they are a scam. they don't detect anything with any accuracy. you are better off putting a rock on your dashboard.

I've heard the same thing. I was going to get one until I heard they don't block anything.

I have an Escort 8500 x50 and I love it. Not perfect, but really improves your odds.
