Looking at these pics of my car in its current form wouldnt you agree that I can definately go with a beefier tire in the Rear??
I have 20X9 (36mm Offset) up Front with 255/35/20 and I have 20X10 (45mm Offset) 285/30/20in the Rear
I installed Saleen Lowering Springs approx 2 months ago so its pretty settled, dropped my GT about 1.5 Inches
I love the way the Front looks but the still looks rediculous in the Back. Would a 295/40/20 on the Rear make a huge difference as far as rubbing the fender, I have about a 2.5" gap from the fender to the top of the rear tire right now, I dont plan on lowering it anymore!!

I've got the same size rubber and wheels coming, I agree the rear looksthin? Interested what size rubber is in the last pic? Maybe those are 19's?

295/40 would look great in the rear, it would also give the car a nice rake with the thinner sidewall up front.

The tire in the last pic is a 315/35/20 which you could probably put on the 10" rim without any trouble.

30 profile is a bit too Foose-like as is your thinkiing. In agreement with the guysI would also beef them up to a 40 series. Lowering it will also help the look although only after you have more tire.

a 285/30 20 should be about 26 3/4 tall.
a 295/40 20 should be about 29 1/4 tall.

there's your 2 inches.

Thre is not enough tire shine on them, thats why it looks funny.
More tire shine will fix it.

In reality, you need more meat to fill the hole there in the back.
