Default Electrical Help please

Hey guys,
my girlfriend has a 2007 v6 pony package. Today as she was driving the "check charging system" went on along with the battery light.Shesays the voltage didn't drop on the gauge. She's taking it in asap but i was wondering if you guys had any input on whetehr this is a known issue or not.

Take it to the dealer they have these people that will fix it for free.

it's not a known issue per say....

take it in as stated and everything will be fine
in the end.



hopefully the dealership won't put 200 miles
on the car, while fixing it

Unless they need to 'soak' test the new alternator, you know, to be on the safe side

Other than looking at the obvious like blown fuses, definately leave it to warranty work.

I had to come in when we had the heat wave down here with bad regulators on the alternators.

Try a volt meter to see if the alternator is charging while its running?
