Default Car won't Start W/Brenspeed

Well I got a tuner and some Brenspeed tunes for my 06 Roush Sport. It arrived Friday and I finally got to try it out this afternoon. When I upload any of the tunes the car will not start. The starter just turns but doesn't catch. Since there are gone for the weekend I won't be able to talk to anyone at Brenspeed till Monday. Any Ideas between now and then? BTW I did manage to reload the stock tune and the car starts just fine. Tried uploading Brenspeed tunes again and same result.

The startegy code in your ECU is probably different than the number you sent them from the sticker on the outside of teh ECU. The dealer may have upgraded the ECU, you will need to pull the startegy code using the SCT II and send them that number.

I read in here that someone had a simular prob. & turned out there ECM had been re-flashed by the dealership sometime or another & u my have a different stratigy then what the 3-digit/1-number code u sent Brent. Theres a thread here that tells how to read your stratigy with your tuner. My CAI & tuner is comming Mon. I hope everything works. If u dont here something in here just go back to your original tune & get ahold of Brent Mon. Wish I could be more help

Brenspeed.com has instructions (a video) on how to download the strategy code using the SCT2. Good luck.

i wouldn't diagree with any previous posts
because i'm NO expert.

i would say however, that when a tune with
a wrong strategy code is uploaded, usually
the result is the car is permanently disable until
the pcm is reflashed by a stealership.

my guess is that the tunes have the right strategy but the
tunes are completely wrong for this car.....

hope everything works out for ya on monday....

At least it starts (whew!). From what I hear, Brenspeed has the best customer service.
