05 GT , is anyone Leasing?
Wondering if anyone is leasing a 05 GT, specially with A/Z/X plan. Wondering to get a quick feel what your paying per month, and the term of your lease would really help me out to fiqure out what is needed.
Thanks Guys

From the numbers I have crunched at dealers, the lease is as expensive as it is to buy and you cannot modify it (relatively speaking).
I was told that with $0down and 60 months on the GT Premium at MSRP, it would run me in the $550-$600 range with tax (I'm in CA, 7.75% tax, ugh!). Leasing over 36 months was no less expensive.
If you are not going to modify it and want the flexibility of getting out of it in 3 years instead of longer, than leasing is probably the way to go. Otherwise, I suggest buying and getting insane in the membrane as I now have preparing for my 05GT.

Well the advanage to leaseing is that you generally get good rates because your using FORD credit, it makes good sense to lease a car for 2-3 years, then just use the purchase to buy option. Its bascially the same as buying, but you have the option when your lease expires if you really want the car or not.
$500-600 0 down for a 24,000 car seems very high, was that including a/x plan? I can lease a 40,000 S60R for $520 a month 0 down, that doesn't seem right.
Thanks

I asked for a V6 on a Z plan (zero option car) and with Ford it was very high
the assumption was for perfect credit:
24 mo, $0 down, $454 / mo ($10,896 cost)
36 mo, $0 down, $380 / mo ($13,680 cost)
based off a $19,410 sticker and the Z plan "sale" price of 17,303
12k per year
I wrote them a check for the purchase price instead
