Default problem finding door lock wires for alarm install

I have a 07 mustang. trying to find the door lock, unlock and pin wires but can't seem to find them. They should be white/violet,dkblue/green,ltgreen/yellow. But couldn't locate them anywhere in the passenger side of the car. I even looked for a yellow/red, and orange/black wire that may work. But couldn't find those either. Please I need help so I can finish my alarm/rs install today.

Remove the kick panel on the passengers side.
Remove the SJB and look behind it. Lots
of connectors there and you will find the
wires there. Be careful as Ford reuses the
colors for other things. I can look up the
individual connectors and find the wires
you are looking for but my manual is not
here at the moment.

Did you go right to the plugs on the back of the smart junction box? If so for lock/unlock they should be in a black 26 pin plug pin number 3 and 1 or8 and 5, and for the door trigger gray 26 pin plug pin number 25. You can also goto the passenger sideA pillar and get the dome light wire which is for door trigger.

It should be within pin 1-8 of the connector.
It'll be the second connector going down on the smart junction box in the passenger kick panel. Its a 26 pin connector thats 2 wires wide.

Ok I found the sjb and took the 10mm nut off from the bottom of it and then pulled the top part of it down, then twisted around some wires and exposed the back of it. I found the following harnesses Grey j6-1 then black j5-1 then black j3-1 then grey 4-1. I found the wires but want to make sure I found the right ones since ford reuses some of the color codes. 3 of the wires are on one of the black 26 pin plugs..not sure which one exactly and the other is a grey 26 pin plug.

Default RE: problem finding door lock wires for alarm install

Ok I have been working on this alarm for two days straight and still not close to being done. I'm doing it pretty much on my own with some help when I get stuck from some of the installers. Today I tied all the wires together on the python brain. I mounted the siren and hood pin in the engine bay, mounted the led and the valet switch, put the brain in the car and started to run the wires to where they need to be. I also stripped some wires and tested them to make sure they were the right wires. I tied all 3 of the red power wires together and was planning on tying them to the 12v constant wire. But someone said I should run a fused line to the battery. I would rather keep everything in the car so a thief can't just pop my hood and take out the fuse and then he can take his time stealing my car. Also what wires do I have to use a resistor for? I'm still unclear what else I need to do.Thanks

You dont need to run a power wire directly to the battery because the one inside the car will be fine for the security system. You dont need to use any resistors for the alarm install, they are for interfacing data bus systems on other vehicles. As long as you found all you wires (door locks, door trigger, trunk pin/release, parking lights, 12v constant, ignition, acc(if doing remote start),starter then you should be well on your way. I hope that you are also using a multimeter and not a test light to verify your wiring.

Another thing is to place the siren well out of reach from
wire cutting theives who usually just reach up from under
the car and snip the siren wire. Are you installing two or
three sirens with one being INSIDE the vehicle? Does
the Python you are installing have a battery back-up?
If not, theives also usually cut the battery wire first also.
This disables the alarm and most likely will come back
up unarmed when the battery wire is reconnected unless
it has a battery back-up. Car alarms are pretty much
a joke to theives and they have a way around most except
the professionally installed ones with all the bells and whistles.
Also ditch the little flashing LED, as theives see it and it
just tells them that an alarm needs to be defeated before
entering the vehicle. No LED, no warning, more likely
they will set it off. The cool stickers for the windows
also need not be applied.

Thanks guys. I wasn't gonna put the stickers on my car, but I did connect the led. Figured it would warn theives not to mess with my car in the first place if they see the led. I put it in my cd player dash kit so I didn't have to drill any holes in my car. The only problem I have with my car is this: From brain Trunk input -blue wire, to car trunk pin +White/yellow wire. What relay should I use to make the - wire a + wire?
