Now I'm confused- I just spoke to Rick at Downs Ford the other day (authorized Ford Racing techs and Whipple installers), and he told me that the 6 psi non-intercooled version makes 400 h.p. at the crank.
I'd specifically asked him "400 h.p. at the crank, or is that r.w.h.p.?"
He even mentioned that another customer who had the same FRPP as me (with about 325 h.p. at the crank) was a bit disappointed with "only" getting another 75 crank h.p. for all that money...........

i hear ya....

i based the 6 psi rwhp numbers, off of a member
who took his 6psi whipple kit to VMP....

as i recalled, the kit made 390 - 400 rwhp with
the VMP custom tune

the 10psi pulley was then mounted and custom tuned
to around 450 rwhp

They dyno'ed a peak of 335 rwhp, which is not a lot for that kind of cash.

The automatic sucks a lot of power. Someone else on here got 400rwhp from the 6psi non-intercooled, but it was also a manual.

Whipple told me around 420rwhp with the 8psi pulley.
