I was reading on another mustang forums website and it people said they can make there windows go down by holding the unlock button. Some Mustangs do it some don't? And if it doesn't you have to have a ford dealership turn the feature on. Can someone explain this to me, how it works and my 2007 Mustang doesn't do it.

It's this and the new ones don't have that feature.
Window, Global Open/Close
The smart junction box (SJB) sends a defined pulse signal on the global open/close circuit to both door window motors to open or close the windows based on a signal received from the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter, door key cylinder or convertible top switch (if equipped). If the accessory delay relay is active, the global open/close feature will not operate. The global open/close feature is only available on vehicles equipped with perimeter alarm and built before 1/3/2005. This feature is not configurable.

+1....My build date is 12/15/04, and it is activated and works like a charm.... Now, if they had only let the early builds activate auto lock on manuals.....[8D][8D] Just on chance, I have gone through the process, gotten the correct horn chirps, but alas.....will not activate.....[:@][:@]

Thats because Ford was stupid and put in an input of reverse in order for it to work. The module has to see all the doors closed, over a certain speed and the tr sensor needs to see reverse. Which is fine when you have an auto. They need to loose the gear input and just leave it to speed and the doors. For now I make my woman be my autolocks.

my autolock works, over 10mph it locks the doors but it would be cool if I could roll the windows down before i get to the car with the key fob.
