installing slp exhaust
gonna install slp loudmouth axelbacks on friday after work, just curious though. my friend who installed his exhaust setup said he had a bear gettin the stock muffler out of the hangars, then i noticed in tacobills write up that he just unbolted the hangers and then took the stock mufflers out of them while they were on the ground. is that the general consensus then on the hangars? just remove them from the car and then put them back?

RE: installing slp exhaust
DON'T TOUCH THE EXHAUST HANGERS!!!
It is such a PITA to unbolt the 13mm hangers due to the clearance, I can swap mufflers in 20minutes (I used to have to change from SLPs to stock every Friday for test and tune noise regs)
Heres how:
All you need to install the LMs is a 15mm deep socket, or 15mm wrench
Losen the muffler to over axle clamps
Unbolt the crossover pipe to over axle clamps
Pull the overaxle pipes foward to pull them out of the mufflers
You can now just yank the mufflers foward and out
Reverse
Alignment will take longer
