I agree this mod is a million times better than some silly tape on job, it looks better and is cheeper.

I have a friend who paints for a living (not cars, but sets and models) so he did it with me but we did 3 coats of primer, wet sanded a little with some 400 grit and then painted them. If I did it alone, I'd probably sand it a little and throw the paint on.


Thanks, I love them! I used Duplicolor Silver Import Auto Spray. The number on the top of the cap is 8801530.
