Updated my Shelby Superstripe

Updated my Shelby Superstripe
I've had the pieces to finish the front bumper for about a year, and finally decided to try them out. The front bumper on the V6 is a real pain to get right with this stripe, and I'm trying to figure out a way to fill in the license plate frame (we don't have front license plates in Michigan) until I convince my wife that I really need to just go ahead and have the stripes painted! It was starting to get dark when Iwas reminded(from another forum) that I hadn't posted the updated pictures yet.
With just the topfront bumper completed for the last 2 weeks:
And as it has been for the last year - "naked" front bumper:

Thanks Jason - if it is the same people that did your car then I know it will come out great! I'll let you know when I am ready to go with painted stripes (that will also be the easiest way to get the full bumper - including the license plate area done).

Looks great Jim.
How difficult was it to align the front bumper stripe?
Did you have to use a hair dryer or heat gun to align it properly over the bumper?
I need to put on my (2) 9" shelby GT stripes on the front bumper and have been putting it off.
Just wondering what joy I'll be in for.
Thanks!

I think that the dual stripes you are talking about will be an easier job since you aren't going to be trying to align a large panel over the compound curve

Jim, it looks outstanding. Great job. I wish I had gone with the superstripe myself and since I have the vinyl I still may at some point. (There are just a couple of things a little higher on the priority list.)

Lookin good Jim!! I still like my bumpers naked, but when I get my stripes painted on, I think I am going to have them finished all the way down, along with painting the back blackout panel.....
Nice goin,
Mike
