What size tires can I fit?

What size tires can I fit?
I'm likely going with these shelby replicas powder coated black: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Shelb...QQcmdZViewItem
I like the way 18's look with a nice sidewall but I really know nothing when it comes to how they're sized. The wheels are 18x9 and 18x10 and I have previously dropped my car 2" front and rear. What do you guys think is the max sidewall and tire size I can fit without having rubbing issues? I wish I could test fit things like this but like all the tire stores say, you mount em' you buy em'.

It's more about offset and keeping the OD as close to OE spec as possible.
With the correct offset (which those probably have), they will keepmost tires inside the wheel arches.
Look up your original tires on the web and get the OD (overall diameter) for them. They will be somewhere in the vicinity of 27" or so. Then choose the tire brand and model that you like and find the tire that is as close to the same OD as possible.
For example: My car came with 18" Fanblades with BFG KDWS tires in 235/50/18's. The OD on those is 27.2". When I upgraded to 20" rims, I got Toyo proxes 4's in 255/35/20 and 295/30/20's. These have an OD of 27.0 and 26.9 inches, respectively...pretty darned close to OE.
Since those wheels are probably built to the same offset as the stock GT500 wheel, my guess is that something like 255/45/18 fronts and 275 or 285/45/18's in the rear are about right.
You probably know this, but just in case, the numbers on the tires read like this:
Tire width / aspect ration (sidewall height to width) / wheel diameter.
Hope that helps a little

Put in your stock tires size and new tire size and it'll flag when you go to an OD more than 3% (or something like that) from stock.

ORIGINAL: torch red
I strongly recommend you dont go to small on the side wall..
255/45 front 285/40 rear is perfect and gets u as close as possible to stock diameter..
