No place wants to recalibrate my speedo.
Mustang Magic on Long Island won't do it. Other than that, I can't think of anyplace that would do it. BTW, it's a Saleen Speedo in a 2007 V6. Think Ford themselve would do it?

RE: No place wants to recalibrate my speedo.
The dealer needs a tuner just to change the gear ratio on your car for the speedo. The tuners are married to the car. If you have a tuner you dont need them to set the ratio.
How would a dealer re-calibrate a speedometer? You are talking about changing the PCM so the needle is calibrated to the larger 200 MPH range? Right?
Dealersdont have special tuning software. They load stock Ford tunes unless you have a handheld tuner associated with your PCM. Then they use that tuner to make changes to the PCM.
I think you will need to talk to Saleen....

zkiller hit it on the head....the dealers are not going to correct the speedo for gears....buy a tuner/cai...you should have done that first anyway, that is s197 101.....if its for the saleen then good luck.....you will have to have the PCM altered and a tuner would get that job done as...Good luck

Once you have the tuner, what option do you need to go into to do this? I was thinking about getting the saleen cluster and I already have a diablo predator but I didn't know how to recalibrate it myself.
