Would it not work out cheaper to sell your current stang and buy a silver one?
Just repair the chips / scratches every 12 months or so it'll work out cheaper. You could do it yourself fairly cheap. The most time consuming bit is polishing it after you have repaired the paint unless you have a machine polisher.

I've had a silver car for 8 years now. The one before it was Silver too. It's one of the easier ones to maintain in terms of not showing dirt or dings/chips. Only under flourescent light does the dirt/light scratches show up.

The Mustng I have now is the first white car I have ever had. I absolutely love white now. It is so easy to keep clean and doesn't show normal dirt like most other colors. When white gets dirty the color just changes to a darker white, its so gradual that you can hardly tell the color has darkened until you wash it.

Black does suck. In the past, Ive had a S-10 Blazer, a Grand National and a Dodge Ram that were all black. I made sure I used a really soft sponge when washing and I polished them twice a year. The thing about black cars is that you can leave a scratch/mark just by touching the damn thing. Oh and uh, from my experience, silver doesnt show dirt or anything else.
Good luck!

the problem with white is that it streaks really bad if it rains a lot in your area.
I vote silver, I've had 2 silver cars before and they always looked spotless no matter how long it'd been since I last washed them.
