I just got my battery cover but I have heard it needs to be trimmed becuz it is too tall? Someone in our club ordered one and when he closed the hood it damaged it! I heard like 1/4 to 1/2 inch needs to be trimmed? Is this correct?

Thanks

I wish we could have earned your business )-:
Check us out next time!

Haven't heard of any issues from any of our customers that picked this up. And ours worked fine when we put it one. You may want to circle back with whoever you purchased your product from and I'll circle back for you with the folks over at ACC to see if they know of any customers that have had this issue.

The ones we sell are from American Car Craft.

Cheers
