RE: What Insurance company do you use?
I pay almost $900 a year for the full coverage ($100K/$300K) in North Carolina on my V6. I use Nationwide Insurance Company who told me the V6 was a class 16 rated car and the GT was a class 19 rated car (what ever that translates into). I have a $1,000 deductible, the home owners insurance on all three of my homes is also on this policy, and I am an old guy so that helps me a lot. I guess they figure the older you are the less likely you are to risk your car by driving it hard. I guess this shows they don't know everything. I do admire all the younger or high risk drivers that can pay the high insurance rates I see quoted here on top of a car payment for the privilege to drive such a nice car. Thats a major commitment. Hard to put a fair price on what it takes to drive the new Mustang!

Well...
I just got off the phone with my insurance rep for American Family.
At first He said they would not even cover it - no exceptions, but he didn't believe it.
so.. he called the home office.. got passed around to 4 different people... Explained to them I am a near lifetime AFI customer, no accidents, no tickets, Drivers Safety Course Certified and an MSA Instructor. it worked!!!
American Family... $812 a year.. FULL Coverage with Gap Insurance, and Underinsurance, and car rental.
- - - - - I am NOT going to complain about THAT!
Although, I definately believe the insurance game is a huge racket to rip people off.

Try the American Automobile Association.... AAA - they are great! and have given me the lowest quotes every single year for several years now.
Me, 1-accident two years ago and Wife, good driver discount - $800/year full coverage $300,000/$100,000

I'm 31 and live in NE with a clean record. I pay $67 per month for full coverage with State Farm (or $800 per year). That was the lowest I could find, I checked Allstate, Geiko, Farm Bureau and Progressive.
