dont wanna beat a dead horse (er mustang?)
i know its been discussed before, but this questions a bit different. im gonna clean my air filter, finally. why do we use oil, whats the logic behind it? also, what kind of oil does one use?

The oil helps trap particles, without it, the high flow filters allow too large of a particle through. As for what kind, I would say whatever the brand you have but I don't know. I had a K&N on my jeep so I used that.
