Default Hood Measurements with Shaker Scoop

Can someone with the Shaker hood scoop (ram air intake) on a GT wit hstock hood please give me the following measurements:

1. Back of hood to back of scoop hole molding
2. Side of hood to scoop hole molding
3. Front of hood (in the center) to front of scoop hole molding

Scoop Hole Molding means that rectangular molding that is attached to the hood after the scoop hole is cut out.

I have a regular GT appearance scoop, and I was wondering if the Shaker would cover the same area. I have a small paint chip under the corner of my scoop. It's not clearly visible as long as the scoop is on. If I install a Shaker I don't want the chip to show and I want to make sure the bolt holes drilled for my GT scoop would be on the part cut out for the Shaker.

Has anyone else converted from GT scoop to Shaker intake? Please advise me. Thanks!

I can take the measurements if needed, but I'll tell you up front the Shaker & trim ring will NOT cover the holes from the Ford scoop. If thats what you currently have installed, you'll either need to have some holes filled or get a take-off hood. The 2 scoops are positioned differently on the hood.

Ok, that's what I thought, aircare84. Hmmmm.....This is gonna cost a fortune. I wish I'd known about the Shaker before I demanded a hood scoop from the dealer.

Ok, I just looked under my hood. I have 4 bolts and three plastic pegs in the scoop area. All of them are within the rectangular indentation where you would cut open the hood. Are you sure the Shaker cut-out won't take care of these holes? Would you mind measuring for me anyway? Thanks.

Looking at TacoBill's guide (pics below), it looks like all the drilled holes would be on the part that is cut out.

So what is the answer? Will the Shaker hole cover the hood scoop holes? Confused now...

Gotta wait till Thewarmachine tells us I suppose, unless someone goes and measures their hood scoop...

I bet CDC could tell you if the shaker covers the stock scoop mounting holes.
