Do you think women like loud exhausts on the 2005+ Mustangs? Curiously, from my end, I have found the answer is NO. I have asked 6 women so far - so this is by no means scientific. Is this a "guy" thing? I was going to order some GTAs or even Borla Stingers for my 2006 GT but now I am holding off - I am more concerned with what women think than men...

Going to dinner last night with my rib, we listened to a modded 4.6L S197 GT lay into it. His exhaust sounded HORRIBLE (both of us agreed with that assessment). Not cuz it was loud, but becuase it sounded like doo-doo. Had we not had a 7:30 reservation, I would have turned around to catch him just to find out what exhaust he had so I'd know never to recommend it.

Thanks - that is one vote against No offense - I personally like it but after asking 6 women and getting negative responses about that on my 2006 GT I am wondering... Got to please the ladies. Also just thought this was interesting as they really all liked my 2006 GT vertstock...

Yeah, most of them are not wired the same way than we are, but I know from experience, they don't mind a nice low tone.

For exemple, women love my 70 Cougar (my avatar) witch you definitly can ear when I get on it. But it's not loud even with a Stroker and Flowmasters (2 chambers). I did put 18" cherry bomb after my X pipe to get just below the loud part. I love it now.

It's the best car I ever owned and except for the sheet metal, nothing is stock on it or in it.

Well I just asked my wife that question and she says she loves it BUT it has to sound good.[8D] SHe isn't a fan though of the tickets that come along with it

My GF doesn't like mine to much. It wakes her up when I leave for work in the morning.

Thank you all - for some reason I think this is really interesting since our 2005+ Mustangs look like muscle cars. I was really surprised that not 1 out of 6 women I asked said they liked it. Definitely a Venus-Mars thing...

I willdefinitely go for the GTAs now.
