No limited slip on the 08s except for 3.55 upgrade?

No limited slip on the 08s except for 3.55 upgrade?
I was checking out the 08s on Ford’s website and the 3.55 gears are a $300 option now.
I remember some discussing this awhile back and the reason for the $300 was because there was no limited slip anymore except for the 3.55 upgrade with the manual?
So what is the consensus, does anyone know what the real deal is?
Are the 3.31s with the auto limited slip?
My next Stang in a few years with be a convertible with an automatic so I sure hope this changes.
