Default Attn Scangauge Users - Question??

I have a 2007 Roush 427 and I cannot get my new scangauge to connect no matter the mode. A gentleman on the Roush Sweet forum has suggested that the scangauge will not connect due to having a start engine button installed in place of the lighter. He said he has seen this before.

I have pulled the fuse which is unique to that power point and still no change. Anyone have any experiences with the scangauge like this? Any other suggestions!!

I would really like to be able to use this unique device. Thanks.
