Winter tires are also made from compounds that don't get hard & slick as temps drop. I have Pirelli Snowsport 210's on some stock rims and had no problems last winter. Don't skimp on safety. Get 4!!

I had all 4 Bridgestone Blizzaks and I got around better than most other normal FWD vehicles. Once when it was slick a friend with a chevy lumina said they would see who could make it up a steep hill and yes my mustang won. Tires and traction control are the best.....AND YES GET ALL 4.

Valid points gentlemen. I will be shopping for 4 and be making my stock wheels my new winter wheels which means...New Wheels this Spring!!! Now to find a deal on some good winter tires.....I think i like the michelin x-ice. Any inputs?
