Black GT badges, to go with my C-stripes.
Where did you purchase them from? My car is black, this wouldhelp them "disappear" without filling the holes.( I prefer more stealth) T.I.A.

Just take them off and sand them with 300 grit sandpaper, put a coat or twoof primer on, then black. I did it for a friend of mine for his red GT. It was easy. I did his pony emblem on the front of the car too.

Ford will tell you that the 1965 was the 1st production year. It was collectors that coined the "64.5". At any rate, your math is flawed. 2005 would have been the 41st year in the way you are thinking. That's like saying the year 2000 was the first in the new millinium. The 21st century didn't start until Jan 1, 2001.

The 64 1/2 comes from the fact that the Mustang came out in April 64.
But it is a 65 year model, that replaced the Falcon.

Hey guys, here is a link to the company that makes badges for a lot of the aftermarket companies. You can contact them to have custom badges made. http://www.miladisplays.com/index.html
