Shoot, I called and asked my local dealer here in Pensacola today and they are charging 28 dollars a piece for them. I hate my local dealer.

What dealer in South AL has them for 6 bucks? I'll be in Mobile this weekend for the HOTROD Summer Power Tour. Maybe I'll make a side trip to your local dealer.

Wow, a few yrs back I bought a set for $6.00, can't believe the price for only one at around $25.00.

Do you guys know if the part numbers are the same for the 2010 Mustang? I'd think they'd be different since the 2010s are shaped a little differently.

Do you guys think paint would hold up on the outside portion of these flaps, since they are flexible rubber?

great write up

yeah, parts price went up well since orig post.

put the gt500s at the rears yesterday.
pretty much the way as seen in the pics at the first post.
did not elongate the upper hole but rather drilled a new one (in the splash guard) right next to it. fits well, figured that eliminates the chance of it moving involuntary and giving better grip to the orig screw.

looks: imo quite nice, from the back hardly visible, tire is black anyways. from the front looking ito wheel well even better that before, i always thought the (in my case) red painted patr looked out of place, now its all black in there.

i guess the test of actual effectiveness will be my next visit to the car wash, probably within the next 2 weeks. usually when i get back from there i gotta wipe off the tire shine stuff from behind the wheels.

i'll wait and see, will consider front ones later.
