RE: WHATS THE BEST SUPERCHARGER FOR AN AUTOMATIC?
Whipple didn't have a SC when I bought my KB otherwise it would have been even tougher to pick which one to get. I went with a KB because it was a twin screw and I wanted to be able to launch a full boost and a lot of torque off the line. If I had a manual, I probably would have gone with a Procharger because I could launch at a higher rpm and take advantage of its power range off the line. There wasn't a turbo kit 2 years ago worth a damn so that type wasn'ta choice either. Now there are some sweet turbo setups out there. I glad I don't have to make that decision again, way toooo many choices now.

It has performed flawlessly for me and I never have a prblem reaching anyone over there in Ranch Cucamonga so I have been happy.
There are lots of good choices. I think the auto and twin-screw are a good combo. Turbos and centris blend well with manuals because they both have to spool up. I am old skool so for me turbos were always an import thing.
These days turbos rule the NMRA so that pretty much tells you what forced induction most race cars are currently using.
To be honest you just have to find a setup that meets your needs and/or gets your car where you want it.
